Prentice Cooper WMA

From Episode 603

A river gorge at Prentice Cooper wildlife management area

The American way of life for most of us is to work and then play. It’s certainly the order of business for officers at the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. TWRA officers work the land in the state’s wildlife management areas with the same loyalty and pride they might use to work a family farm. And what officers work to sow reaps a bountiful harvest for play. Wild Side Guide Annette Nole Hall takes us to the Prentice Cooper Wildlife Management Area near Chattanooga for a look at some beautiful Tennessee land, including breathtaking views of a river gorge.

Wildlife Management Areas abound in Tennessee for protection of animals and for recreational use by us humans. Visit www.tnwildlife.org for a listing of locations and descriptions.
